M3lsh Privacy Policy

Overview

M3lsh is an entertainment app. This privacy policy explains what information the app uses, how the app works on your device, and how advertising and in-app purchases are handled.

Information the app uses

M3lsh may use the following device features and services:

• Microphone access for Vent Mode
• Motion sensor access for Shake Mode
• Apple in-app purchase services for premium voice packs
• Google Mobile Ads for banner advertising on iPhone

M3lsh does not use the camera, photo library, Face ID, face detection, facial mapping, depth mapping, AR face tracking, or facial recognition features.

Microphone data

Vent Mode uses your microphone so you can record a short voice message inside the app.

• Recordings are used only to power the Vent Mode experience.
• Recordings are not uploaded to our servers.
• Recordings are not stored as part of a user account.
• Recordings are deleted after local playback and app flow completion.

Motion data

Shake Mode uses your device motion sensors to detect when you shake your iPhone.

• Motion data is used only to trigger in-app reactions.
• Motion data is not used to identify you.

Face data

M3lsh does not collect, process, store, retain, transmit, or share face data. The app does not collect facial images, facial geometry, facial landmarks, facial recognition templates, face embeddings, depth maps, biometric face data, or data derived from a user's face.

M3lsh does not use camera APIs, photo library APIs, ARKit face tracking, Vision face detection, Face ID, TrueDepth, or any third-party face analysis service. Because M3lsh does not collect face data, there are no planned uses of face data, no face data is shared with third parties, no face data is stored, and no face data is retained.

In-app purchases

M3lsh offers premium voice packs as non-consumable in-app purchases through Apple.

• Purchases are processed by Apple, not by M3lsh directly.
• We do not store your payment card details.
• Restore Purchases is available from the Voice Packs screen.

Advertising

M3lsh uses Google Mobile Ads to display ads on iPhone.

• The app uses Google User Messaging Platform to request ad consent where required.
• The app may request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission to improve ad relevance and ad measurement.
• If you deny tracking permission, the app still works.
• Premium purchases continue to work even if you deny ad consent or tracking.

When ads are shown, Google may collect and process certain data according to its own privacy policies, including:

• Device identifiers (such as advertising ID / IDFA when tracking is allowed)
• Approximate location (coarse location inferred from IP address, used for ad targeting)
• General usage data (ad impressions, interactions)
• Diagnostic data (crash reports, performance metrics from the ads SDK)

Analytics and tracking

M3lsh does not use any first-party analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking services. The app does not present itself as a therapy, medical, or crisis support service.

The app only requests tracking permission in connection with advertising and ad measurement. If permission is not granted, the app remains fully usable.

Data sharing

M3lsh does not operate its own servers and does not transmit your data to any M3lsh-controlled backend.

M3lsh does not share face data with Apple, Google, advertising providers, or any other third party because the app does not collect face data.

The app relies on platform and advertising providers (Apple and Google) to deliver purchases and ads. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

Data retention

M3lsh does not store personal data. Microphone recordings are temporary files deleted immediately after playback. Voice pack purchase records and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted.

Face data is not retained for any period because M3lsh does not collect, process, or store face data.

Children

M3lsh is an entertainment app and is not intended to collect personal information from children knowingly.

Your choices

You can:

• Deny microphone access
• Deny motion access
• Deny tracking permission
• Avoid purchasing premium content
• Use Restore Purchases for previously owned voice packs

Depending on these choices, some features may be limited.
